Solo Boaters of West Coast BC

After several great years of sunshine, cruising, and excellent company, I’ve had to make the tough call to sell my boat. Age, upcoming medical challenges and a bit less strength than I used to have have turned solo boating into more of a “heroic challenge,” and I’m not auditioning for that role.

I’d still love to visit Ekins — but without a boat, I’ll only appear if a generous captain and crew are brave enough to invite me along.

If you ever want a cheerful stateroom buddy who doesn’t take up much space, I’m happily available.

I'm a solo boater, member of TBYC and an owner of Commander26' who loves being out on the water, but I've found it's a lot more fun when shared.

If anyone is planning a cruise to the Gulf Islands and wouldn't mind

another boat tagging along, I'd love to connect.

My schedule is very flexible, I'm looking for good company and shared

experiences - not to intrude, just to enjoy some fellowship with like-

minded boaters.
