Thunderbird Yacht Club’s roots date back to 1950’s when several Thunderbird Marina boaters began cruising together and started to refer to themselves as members of the “Thunderbird Yacht Club”. Fast-forward 70 years, TBYC has evolved into a vibrant yacht club, with our large Ekins Point, Gambier Island facility, and the Club’s four outstanding outstations, all conveniently located within a day’s sail of Greater Vancouver.
