In 1972 a small group of like minded boaters got together and formed Thunderbird Yacht Club with the vision of developing a private oasis on the shores of Gambier Island. Years later, Thunderbird Yacht Club has evolved into a one of a kind facility, where members can relax and unwind amid the beauty of Howe Sound.
