Work Parties are a long standing tradition for TBYC members.  Two weekends a year are spent maintaining the facilities and grounds at Ekins Point, with the spring focusing on cleanup from the winter and getting the facilities ready for summer, and the fall is spent securing the property and docks for the winter.

 

Members are encouraged to attend one or both weekends as this is a great way to get to know your fellow members.  Work is organized by the Ekins Management committee and tasks are assigned based on skill and ability level.  Whether you find yourself on trail cleanup, repairing a structure or preparing lunch, these weekends are both fun and rewarding.
